Ring! Ring! "Ugh!" I looked at my caller ID completely irritated.

"She's calling again?" Jeff asked

"Yeah! Seems like as long as I'm arguing with her she's happy." I took a deep breath determined not to argue. "Hello!"

"Yussef I'm pregnant!" Sylvia said

I felt like she knocked the air out of me. I took the phone off my ear, "why are you telling me?" I said as coldly as I could. Then I shook my head at Jeff.

"Come on Yussef! You know why, remember the shower!" She said waiting for me to remember.

"I remember my soldiers going down the drain. You better talk to Drew or whomever else you were messing with. Cause that right there isn't me!"

"After all that time that we were together, this is how you do me?" She said

"After all that time and then I realize you were always after the big fish. You were living well with me; I had all the pussy a man could ask for. As soon as you realized there was a bigger fish to fry, I couldn't touch you no more. You were saving all your juice for a drunken romp in the club. Somehow all of this has backfired on you and you expect me to fall on the sword? NOPE! Not gonna do it! How far along are you anyways? Not that I care, but so that I can make a mental timeline." I said as evilly as I could

She sound like she was crying. "I'm six months."

"Are you crying? Is her majesty crying? Shut up with all that! I don't want to hear it! Where were your tears when you decided you were going after Drew? I refuse to believe that night happened spontaneously." She didn't say anything she kept crying. "What's the other guy's name?"

"What guy?"

"Come on Sylvia we are beyond the whole your innocent and pure phase. What's his name? Be real with me!"

"Carlos"

"Is he Mexican?"

"Yes" she said through tears

"So if the baby comes out Mexican you know its Carlos, if the baby is black you better go talk to Drew. I don't know why you think I would fall for that. I'm not in love with you anymore."

"Yes you are!" She said through tears

"How you gonna tell me?"
